Urgent Action Alert: Click to Tell the President to Fund Our Paychecks!
The grants for the airline industry in the Coronavirus relief act that Congress passed at the end of March are supposed to fund paychecks and benefits for two million hourly workers, including passenger service agents and reservations agents.
President Trump's Treasury Secretary, Steve Mnuchin, is threatening to take action that will add debt to the airlines' balance sheets, increase the risk of bankruptcy, and make it more difficult for the airlines to do the right thing for workers like us.
Congress did not intend for the grants to work this way. Click here to tell President Donald Trump to make sure the grants are used to save our jobs, our paychecks, and our healthcare.
